Mehrangarh Fort

The Pride of Jodhpur

Perched more than 400 feet above the Blue City, Mehrangarh Fort is one of India's largest and best-preserved forts. Built in 1459 by Rao Jodha, it has witnessed five centuries of Rajput history. One of the world's largest private residences, Umaid Bhawan Palace was commissioned by Maharaja Umaid Singh in 1929.
